Abstract

Kortikosteroid merupakan obat lini pertama pengobatan Lupus Eritematosus Sistemik (LES). Namun, penggunaan kortikosteroid sistemik jangka panjang mempunyai efek samping pada berbagai organ, termasuk kulit. Oleh karena itu, perlu pemantauan agar dapat meminimalkan efek samping. Artikel ini membahas efek samping kortikosteroid sistemik jangka panjang pada pasien LES perempuan usia 25 tahun. Setelah mendapat terapi topikal selama 1 bulan terdapat perbaikan. Corticosteroids are the first-line drugs in the treatment of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). But the long-term use of systemic corticosteroids has side effects on various organs including the skin. Long-term use of systemic corticosteroids needs monitoring to minimize side effects. This article will discuss the side effects of long-term corticosteroid use in 25-year-old female patients with SLE. Significant changes occurred after one-month topical therapy.
