Abstract

Katarak merupakan penyebab kebutaan terbanyak di dunia. Tatalaksana definitif katarak adalah tindakan bedah. Beberapa teknik operasi katarak makin berkembang dengan irisan lebih kecil, penyembuhan cepat, dan angka komplikasi rendah. Pemeriksaan periodik pasca operasi katarak sangat penting untuk mendeteksi komplikasi. Cataract is the leading cause of blindness in the world. The only treatment for cataracts is surgery. Improvements of cataract surgery techniques include smaller surgical site, rapid recovery, and lower rates of complications. Periodic examination is essential to detect surgical complications.
