<![CDATA[Sequential Organ Failure Assessment (SOFA) score saat ini digunakan dalam pendekatan sepsis. Modifikasi skor SOFA, yaitu quickSOFA (qSOFA), dapat digunakan untuk identifikasi awal sepsis pada pasien yang curiga infeksi sebelum tersedianya hasil pemeriksaan penunjang. Dalam laporan kasus ini, seorang perempuan 50 tahun datang dengan keluhan sesak napas dan lemas. Dilakukan penilaian awal qSOFA dengan skor 2 berarti curiga sepsis, kemudian diidentifikasi disfungsi organ menggunakan skor SOFA dengan total skor 7. Pasien didiagnosis syok sepsis. Meskipun dengan resusitasi cairan adekuat, diperlukan vasopressor untuk menjaga MAP ≥65 mmHg. Pemberian antibiotik broad spectrum juga menjadi terapi utama karena tidak tersedia pemeriksaan kultur darah. Sequential Organ Failure Assessment (SOFA) score is currently used in sepsis approach. Modification of SOFA scores - quickSOFA (qSOFA) - can be used to identify early sepsis in suspected patients prior to the availability of investigation results. In this case report, 50-year-old woman presents with shortness of breath and weakness. An initial assessment of qSOFA with score 2 means suspected sepsis; identification of organ dysfunction with SOFA score resulted a total score of 7. Patient was diagnosed with septic shock. Despite adequate fluid resuscitation, a vasopressor was needed to keep MAP ≥65 mmHg. Broad spectrum antibiotic is also given because of the unavailability of blood culture examination]]>
