<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the phenomena in language acquisition and development in elementary school-age children. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design to gain a deep understanding of the phenomenon of language acquisition and development in elementary school children. Data collection techniques used through observation and analysis of documents. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the phenomenon of language acquisition and development in elementary school children aged 7 years to 12 years is a complex process, influenced by various factors. In addition, language acquisition of elementary school children can also have an impact on the learning process. There are several theories that support the stage of language development, namely cognitive theory, social interactionism theory, Piaget's theory of cognitive development, and language acquisition theory from a neurocognitive perspective. Thus, children's language acquisition can take place optimally, helping them in the academic and social progress of learners.]]>
