This study aims to find out empirical data related to the influence of the use of the show and tell method on the speaking skills of elementary school students (meta-analysis study. Meta-analysis research is also known as meta-research or meta-research. The data sources in this study come from libraries, books, and journals. The results of the analysis revealed that overall the average effect size of the analyzed research journals. Experiments on the influence of the show and tell method on the speaking skills of elementary school students can obtain a score of 2.316 and are included in a large category. Overall, the show and tell method was able to improve students' speaking skills in the experimental group from the cotrol group, with an effect size of 2.316 which was included in the large category. This shows that the show and tell method has a more effective influence and should be applied in learning speaking skills. The effect on the application of the show and tell method on the speaking skills of elementary school students based on grade level is in a large category with a score of 2.46. This shows that the show and tell method has a more effective influence and should be applied in learning speaking skills. The show and tell method can be used as an alternative learning to improve students' speaking skills.
