Education in the digital era presents both challenges and new opportunities for educators, including Arabic language teachers. The development of information and communication technology has transformed teaching and learning methods, encouraging innovation in instructional approaches. This article discusses the role of technology in Arabic language teaching, as well as the challenges faced by Arabic language teachers in utilizing digital technology, such as limited access to digital devices, low technological proficiency among educators, and difficulties in maintaining the quality of interaction and Arabic speaking skills. On the other hand, this article also explores the significant opportunities available to Arabic language teachers in the digital era to take advantage of digital platforms, learning applications, and online resources to enhance the quality of teaching. Technology-based learning enables education to be more flexible, interactive, and accessible to students in various locations. This article also provides learning models that can be applied by Arabic language teachers to optimize the use of technology in improving the effectiveness of Arabic language teaching and learning today.
