This study aims to develop fable story teaching materials based on character education using Gemini AI and Canva media to improve students' writing skills in elementary schools. The research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D model, which includes the stages of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The Define stage involved needs analysis and curriculum review, followed by the Design stage, which focused on content structuring and media selection. In the Develop stage, the materials were validated by experts and revised based on feedback, and finally tested through limited trials. The results of the study indicate that the developed teaching materials are valid based on expert validation, practical based on student responses, and effective in improving students' ability to write fable texts. Additionally, the teaching materials are successful in integrating character values into the learning process, thereby supporting students' affective and cognitive development. The combination of Gemini AI and Canva not only enhances students' creativity and engagement but also fosters a meaningful and enjoyable learning experience. These findings suggest that technology-assisted teaching materials can be a powerful tool to improve literacy and character education in primary education.
