<![CDATA[Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has an important role in the formation of students’ character, both in spiritual, moral, social, and emotional terms. One of the main goals of education is to produce a generation with noble and responsible morals. However, there are still challenges to maximize the role of PAI in the formation of students’ character, especially amidst the development of technology and globalization, which influences the way people think and act. This study uses theoretical studies to collect and analyze relevant literature and theories. The study conducted shows that PAI plays a major role in instilling values such as faith, piety, honesty, and tolerance in students. This can be achieved through a learning appoarch based on values and role models. PAI can also help students become more noble and better. This study found that cooperation between teachers, students, and parents and the use of methods that are in accordance with the development of the times. ]]>
