ABSRTACT This article aims to find out the review of sharia economic law and Law No. 22 of 2001 on subsidized fuel hoarding, the object of this study is hoarding carried out by individuals or groups on fuel subsidized by the government for personal gain. The research method used is qualitative with a literature study approach in the form of collecting information by means of literature review in articles and online journals. This study resulted in the conclusion that hoarding of fuel subsidized by the government can harm the community and also the state. As well as the application of criminal sanctions that will be imposed on hoarding perpetrators in accordance with Law No. 22 of 2001 concerning Oil and Gas and Earth.
