<![CDATA[Elderly or old age is a closing period in a person's life span, namely a period where a person has moved far from the previous period that was enjoyable, or moved from a time full of benefits. Along with the continuation of age, health problems begin to experience disorders, especially chronic diseases. In this case, the emergence of chronic diseases will affect the elderly in their social interactions with others. This study aims to identify changes in the social interactions of the elderly with chronic diseases using the Analytical Correlation design, using purposive side as many as 43 respondents. The study was conducted in October 2024-January 2025. Data were collected using a questionnaire. The data that has been collected was analyzed using a computerized system. From the results of the analysis, 88.4% of respondents experienced changes in social interactions or the social interactions of the elderly were categorized as bad. The results of this study recommend that nurses improve nursing care for the elderly with chronic diseases towards changes in their social interactions.]]>
