Abstract

Pregnancy is the growth and development of the fetus. During pregnancy the mother undergoes physiological changes, occurring throughout the organ system, most of the changes that occur in the mother's body are due to the work of hormones, namely the presence of estrogen and progesterone hormones. During the first trimester of pregnancy, mothers usually complain of nausea, vomiting. Emesis gravidarum is caused by increased levels of the hormone estrogen and HCG in the blood, and also influenced by several factors, one of which is psychosocial factors that predict some women to experience nausea and vomiting in pregnancy, worsen existing symptoms or reduce the ability to cope with normal symptoms. The Research Objectives: This study aims to find out whether the effect of steeping mint leaf tea and honey on reducing Emesis Gravidarum in First Trimester Pregnant Women at Atikah Clinic, Panyabungan District Mandailing Natal In 2025. Method: The type of research used is Pre-Experimental research. The population in the study was all first trimester pregnant women with nausea vomiting at the clinic Atikah Kec.panyabungan Kab.mandailing Natal . The sampling technique uses Accidental Sampling with a sample size of 30 people. Data collection with instruments PUQE Aquestionnaire sheet. Data analysis using Wilcoxon Matched Paired Signed Test with a significant level of p<0.05). Result: The results of the analysis showed that there is an influence with the value of P = 0.001 where P = <0.05. Conclusion: It is suggested that this study can be used as information for TM I pregnant women at the Atikah Kec.Panyabungan kab.Mandailing Natal and it is expected that pregnant women can consume steeping mint leaf tea and honey as a non-pharmacological drug to reduce emesis gravidarum in pregnant women
