<![CDATA[Alveolar bone resorption is a frequent physiological and pathological condition. The alveolar lingir may become flat or the sur-rounding soft tissues may become flabby. Flabby cases require modification of the impression tray and different moulding tech-niques. This manuscript reports the treatment of a complete denture with flabby ridge and flat ridge conditions but with adequate retention and stability. A 45-year-old female presented to the prosthodontics clinic with chewing difficulties due to loss of all maxil-lary and mandibular teeth. After clinical examination and panaromic radiographs, there was flabby mucosa in the anterior maxil-lary and flat ridge in the posterior mandibular region. The CDs were made using open window impression technique and occlu-sion concept was determined on tooth preparation. It was concluded that the open window impression method and the concept of occlusion on the flabby ridge and flat ridge can produce CDs that have good retention and stability.]]>
