<![CDATA[Immediate overdenture is a treatment option to maintain alveolar ridge integrity. Root remnants under the immediate overden-ture denture base will reduce the risk of further resorption of the alveolar ridge, maintain aesthetics and improve retention and stability. One type of immediate overdenture denture is overdenture with bare root attachment. This article describes the success-ful immediate full upper overdenture and lower partial overdenture with bare root attachment. Clinically, there was extensive tooth loss and root residue in some teeth. Severe alveolar resorption in upper jaw. Extractions were performed on the remaining roots of 23,24,25,34,45 and extraction of 18 after the denture was made. Root canal treatment on teeth 21 and 22, and decaputation of teeth after denture was ready; they were used as bare root attachment for immediate full upper overdenture while teeth 35 and 44 as bare root attachment for partial lower overdenture. It was concluded that immediate full upper overdenture and par-tial lower overdenture with bare root attachments can maintain aesthetics and improve denture retention and stabilisation.]]>
