Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel mediasi pada pegawai PT Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) Cabang Jatinegara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik sampling jenuh, melibatkan 80 responden. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbasis Partial Least Squares (PLS) dengan aplikasi SmartPLS 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dan kinerja karyawan. Selain itu, kepuasan kerja memediasi pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan secara signifikan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoritis dan praktis dalam pengelolaan sumber daya manusia, khususnya dalam konteks perbankan. This study aims to examine the influence of leadership style and work environment on employee performance, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable among employees at PT Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) Jatinegara Branch. A quantitative research method with saturated sampling technique was applied, involving 80 respondents. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) with SmartPLS 4. The findings reveal that leadership style and work environment positively and significantly affect job satisfaction and employee performance. Furthermore, job satisfaction significantly mediates the influence of leadership style and work environment on employee performance. This study provides theoretical and practical contributions to human resource management, particularly in the banking sector.
