Abstract

Seminar sebagai salah satu kegiatan penyebaran informasi, dalam pengelolaannya masih dihadapkan kendala teknis seperti pengelolaan pendaftaran, presensi peserta, distribusi sertifikat, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun SIMAS (Sistem Manajemen Seminar), sebuah platform terintegrasi yang menghubungkan penyelenggara dengan peserta seminar menggunakan metode pengembangan perangkat lunak Research and Development (R&D) dan metode pengujian Black Box Testing. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa SIMAS berhasil mengimplementasikan lima fitur unggulan diantaranya manajemen seminar yang efektif, pendaftaran dan pembayaran terintegrasi, presensi digital berbasis QR code, distribusi sertifikat otomatis, chatbot AI, dan grup komunitas untuk interaksi antar peserta. Implementasi dilakukan dalam arsitektur tiga pengguna master admin, admin vendor sebagai penyelenggara, dan user sebagai peserta sehingga mengurangi beban administratif penyelenggara. Kata Kunci : Sistem Manajemen Seminar, Presensi Digital, Sertifikat Otomatis, Platform Terintegrasi, CodeIgniter 3 ABSTRACT Seminars as one of the information dissemination activities, in their management still face technical obstacles such as management registration, participant attendance, certificate distribution, and documentation. This study aims to build SIMAS (Seminar Management System), an integrated platform that connects organizers with seminar participants using the Research and Development (R&D) software development method and the Black Box Testing method. The results of this study show that SIMAS has successfully implemented five superior features, including effective seminar management, integrated registration and payment, QR code-based digital presence, automatic certificate distribution, AI chatbot, and community groups for interaction between participants. The implementation is carried out in a three-user architecture: master admin, vendor admin as organizer, and user as participant, thus reducing the administrative burden on the organizer..
