The success of MDR-TB treatment is influenced by medication adherence. Several factors disrupt medication adherence. One of the influencing factors is health workers as people who educate by providing information about TB-MDR and providing motivation so that patients are not bored with treatment.This study aims to determine the relationship between health worker services and adherence to taking medication in MDR-TB patients at H. Adam Malik General Hospital, Medan. This is a definite analytic study with a cross-sectional design conducted in September 2022 using a total sampling technique. Data analysis used the Chi-square test. From the 60 questionnaires that were successfully collected, data were obtained from 51 respondents (85%) with a high level of medication adherence, 55 respondents (91.7%) stated that the services of health workers were good educators, and as many as 55 respondents (91.7 %), noted that the benefits of health workers are good educators. The Chi-square test analysis revealed that the values of p = 0.003 and p = 0.028 indicate that there is a relationship between the level of adherence to medicine among MDR-TB patients and the services of health workers as educators and motivators. Good health worker services are expected to increase medication adherence and minimize the incidence of MDR- TB.
