Abstract. This research aims to determine and evaluate the extent of the implementation of the accrual-based accounting system at the East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police in 2022/2023. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the implementation of the accrual-based accounting system at the East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police in 2022/2023. This research is located at the NTT Regional Police Operations Bureau Office with a qualitative research type. The data sources used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The data collection method in this study uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that reporting at the NTT Regional Police Operations Bureau office is in accordance with Government Regulation Number 71 of 2010 concerning Accrual-Based Government Accounting Standards. This is supported by real evidence that the NTT Regional Police Operations Bureau office has been enthusiastic about implementing and optimizing the accrual-based accounting system in improving the quality of reporting by utilizing the use of the SAKTI Application in the financial reporting process. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengevaluasi sejauh mana implementasi sistem akuntansi berbasis akrual pada Kepolisian Daerah Nusa Tenggara Timur tuhan 2022/2023. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana implementasi sistem akuntansi berbasis akrual pada Kepolisian Daerah Nusa Tenggara Timur tahun 2022/2023. Penelitian ini berlokasi di Kantor Biro Operasi Polda NTT dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Metode Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaporan di kantor Biro Operasi Polda NTT sudah sesuai dengan peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 71 Tahun 2010 Tentang Standar Akuntansi Pemerintah Berbasis Akrual. Hal ini di dukung dengan adanya bukti nyata bahwa kantor Biro Operasi Polda NTT telah antusias mengimplementasikan dan mengoptimalkan sistem akuntansi berbasis akrual dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelaporan dengan memanfaatkan penggunaan Aplikasi SAKTI dalam proses pelaporan keuangan.
