Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh manajemen skill dan perilaku Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) terhadap kinerja anggota POLRI melalui motivasi kerja di Kantor Biro Operasi Polda Sulsel. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dari survei terhadap 50 anggota. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan kuesioner. Data analisis dilakukan dengan program SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) manajemen skill dan perilaku SDM memiliki pengaruh langsung yang signifikan terhadap kinerja anggota, (2) manajemen skill dan perilaku SDM secara langsung memengaruhi motivasi kerja, dan (3) motivasi kerja bertindak sebagai variabel mediasi yang memperkuat hubungan antara manajemen skill serta perilaku SDM terhadap kinerja. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pengelolaan skill dan perilaku SDM dalam meningkatkan kinerja institusi kepolisian. This study aims to analyze the influence of skill management and Human Resource (HR) behavior on the performance of POLRI members through work motivation at the office of the Operations Bureau of the South Sulawesi Regional Police. This study used primary data from a survey of 50 members. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The data analysis was conducted using SmartPLS software. The research findings indicated that (1) skill management and HR behavior have a significant direct effect on the performance of members, (2) skill management and HR behavior directly influence work motivation, and (3) work motivation acts as a mediating variable that strengthens the relationship between skill management, HR behavior, and performance. These findings underscore the importance of managing skills and HR behavior in enhancing the performance of police institutions.
