Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh job description dan kompotensi kerja terhadap employee engagement dan kinerja karyawan, serta menganalisis pengaruh job description dan kompotensi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui employee engagement pada pada PT Jaya Abadi Prospero Showroom Yamaha Cabang Bulukumba. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan kuesioner, dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan metode Partial Least Square (PLS) versi 4.1. Hasil penelitian diperoleh temuan bahwa job description berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja karyawan, kompotensi kerja berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja karyawan, job description berpengaruh langsung terhadap employee engagement, Kompotensi kerja berpengaruh langsung terhadap employee engagement, employee engagement berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hasil uji mediasi diperoleh temuan bahwa employee engagement dapat memediasi pengaruh job descpription dan kompotensi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Jaya Abadi Prospero Showroom Yamaha Cabang Bulukumba. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of job descriptions and work competencies on employee engagement and employee performance, as well as analyzing the influence of job descriptions and job competencies on employee performance through employee engagement at PT Jaya Abadi Prospero Showroom Yamaha Bulukumba Branch. This research using a quantitative approach, collecting data through observation and questionnaires, with data analysis techniques using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method version 4.1. The results of the research found that job descriptions have a direct effect on employee performance, work competencies have a direct effect on employee performance, job descriptions have a direct effect on employee engagement, work competencies have a direct effect on employee engagement, employee engagement has a direct effect on employee performance. The results of the mediation test found that employee engagement can mediate the influence of job description and work competency on employee performance at PT Jaya Abadi Prospero Showroom Yamaha Bulukumba Branch.
