Abstract

Unit Pelaksana Penimbangan Kendaraan Bermotor (UPPKB) Moutong menghadapi tantangan besar dalam memantau dan mengelola proyek infrastruktur. Sistem manual pengolahan data kendaraan angkutan barang di Unit Pelaksana Penimbangan Kendaraan Bermotor Moutong kerap menimbulkan ketidakefisienan, seperti ketidakakuratan data, keterlambatan pelaporan, dan transparansi terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem informasi berbasis web untuk meningkatkan pemantauan dan pengelolaan data kendaraan angkutan barang. Metode penelitian menggunakan System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model Waterfall, meliputi komunikasi, perencanaan, pemodelan, konstruksi, dan penerapan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sistem berhasil mengintegrasikan pengumpulan data real-time, pelaporan otomatis, dan manajemen basis data terpusat, meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan akuntabilitas. Umpan balik pengguna mengindikasikan kemudahan akses informasi dan berkurangnya beban administratif. Simpulan studi ini menyatakan bahwa adopsi sistem berbasis web dapat mengatasi kesenjangan proses manual dan mendukung pengambilan keputusan lebih baik dalam manajemen transportasi di Parigi Moutong.   Moutong Motorized Vehicle Weighing Implementation Unit (UPPKB) faces major challenges in monitoring and managing infrastructure projects. The manual data management system for monitoring freight vehicle operations at the Motor Vehicle Weighing Unit in Moutong often leads to inefficiencies, such as data inaccuracies, delays in reporting, and limited transparency. This study aims to develop a web-based information system to improve the monitoring and management of freight vehicle data. The research method follows the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall model, including needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and deployment. The results show that the system successfully integrates real-time data collection, automated reporting, and centralized database management, enhancing operational efficiency and accountability. Stakeholder feedback indicates improved ease of access to information and reduced administrative workload. This study concludes that adopting a web-based system can address existing gaps in manual processes and support better decision-making for transportation management in Parigi Moutong.
