<![CDATA[This article aims to analyze the significance of religious moderation in the development of the Independent Curriculum and how its principles can be integrated into a more inclusive and humanistic learning process. The study examines strategies for implementing religious moderation through approaches based on universal values, strengthening interfaith understanding, and fostering mutual respect. The article discusses how the principles of religious moderation can be incorporated into the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Indonesia. As one of the latest education policies, the Independent Curriculum provides educators with the flexibility to develop relevant and contextual learning materials. Through this approach, values such as tolerance, respect for diversity, and appreciation of differences can be instilled in students from an early age. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach, drawing from literature reviews and practical implementation in schools. The findings indicate that integrating religious moderation into the Independent Curriculum can serve as an effective strategy to develop students’ inclusive, balanced, and harmonious character in the context of diversity.  ]]>
