<![CDATA[This study aims to describe the Strengthening of Religious Moderation Values in Shaping the Tolerance Attitudes of Santri in the Contemporary Era. The research design employed a qualitative approach with a case study method. The research setting was at Pondok Pesantren Subulus Salam, located in Pajarakan Kulon Village, Pajarakan Sub-district, Probolinggo Regency. The study was conducted from January to May 2025. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. For data analysis, the researcher used Miles and Huberman’s descriptive qualitative analysis model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The research findings indicate that the strengthening of religious moderation values in shaping the tolerance attitudes of santri in the contemporary era is carried out through the following strategies: role model of moderate kiai; branding design of the pesantren image as moderate, democratic, and tolerant; integration of religious moderation values into the pesantren’s educational curriculum; internalization of religious moderation values in teaching and learning activities at school; and The study of kitab kuning (classical Islamic texts) that promotes religious moderation.]]>
