Abstract

Topografi peisisir Semarang datar berkisar antara 0-2% dengan sebagian luas wilayahnya hampir sama tingginya dengan permukaan laut dan bahkan di beberapa tempat di bawahnya. Berbagai masalah lingkungan yang dihadapi oleh Semarang terkait dengan dinamika pesisir dan laut, antara lain adalah masalah genangan pasang surut, subsiden, dan banjir di musim hujan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memodelkan lokasi yang rentan terhadap penggenangan akibat adanya subsiden. Pengolahan data titik ketinggian, garis contour dan subsiden menggunakan Geographic Information System (GIS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pesisir Semarang memiliki tingkat kerentanan yang tinggi terhadap genangan akibat land subsiden. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari indikasi luas wilayah tergenang meningkat dari 2162.5 Ha (5.6%) menjadi 3.896.3 Ha (10.1%) pada 10 tahun yang akan datang. Model genangan ini berperan penting dalam pengelolaan pesisir dalam jangka panjang.Kata Kunci : Penurunan Tanah, Model Elevasi Digital, Genangan Rob ABSTRACTSemarang coastal topography is flat, with slope percentage around 0-2%. Most area is almost the same as height as the sea level and in some places are lower. Various environmental problems faced by Semarang related by sea and coastal dinamics are tidal inundation, land subsidence, and floods during rainy season. This study  was conducted to model the area that is vulnerable to inundation caused by subsidence. The data of spot height, countour line and the rate of subsidence were analyzed by using Geographic Information System (GIS). The results showed that the Semarang coastal had a high level of vulnerability to inundated area. This condition can be seen from the indications of the extent area affected by tidal inundation from 2162.5 Ha (5.6%) to 3.896.3 Ha (10.1%) during 10 years. Tidal inundation increased intensively and spread along with the increase of subsidence. The modeling of the inundated area due to land subsidence plays an important role in long-term coastal zone management. Keywords: Land Subsidence, Digital Elevation Model (DEM), Tidal Inundation
