<![CDATA[This study aims to identify forms of domestic violence (DV), analyze the causal factors, and evaluate the effectiveness of legal protection for victims in Indonesia. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through literature studies, interviews with victims of DV, and documentation from women's protection institutions. The results of the study indicate that DV occurs in various forms, including physical, psychological, sexual violence, and economic neglect. The main factors that trigger DV include patriarchal culture, economic dependence, low education, and lack of understanding of the law. Although there are regulations such as Law Number 23 of 2004 concerning the Elimination of DV, implementation in the field still faces various obstacles, such as low public awareness and weak law enforcement. The conclusion of this study shows the need for a more integrative approach between the government, law enforcement officers, and social institutions in handling DV cases and the importance of education and empowerment of women to break the cycle of domestic violence.]]>
