Abstract

Abstrak Background: Chassis merupakan bagian terpenting pada structural kendaraan. Masa kini sudah banyak kendaraan yang menggunakan tenaga listrik, karena bahan bakar fosil akan habis. Adanya bahan bakar listrik menjadikan kendaraan dimasa kini ramah lingkungan dan tidak mengeluarkan polusi. Pembuatan mobil listrik prototipe salah satunya menyiapkan desain dan disimulasikan menggunakan software. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan model chassis dengan bahan alumunium hollow 6061 yang terbaik dengan perbandingan tiga model chassis. Perbandingan dilakukan melalui analisis static menggunakan software Autodesk Inventor 2019 dengan model chassis pola H, X, dan Y yang akan diberikan beban sebesar 900 N meliputi beban pengemudi sebesar 600 N. Nilai yang didapat dari analisis statik, yaitu Von Mises Stress, Displacement, dan Safety Factor. Chassis pada pengujian ini memiliki dimensi ukuran 2,160 mm x 750 mm x 500 mm dengan ketebalan 2 mm. Kesimpulan dari hasil pengujian statik pada chassis menjelaskan chassis dengan model H menjadi model chassis yang terbaik pada penelitian ini dengan nilai Von Mises Stress 36,03 MPa, Displacement 4,28 mm, dan Safety Factor 7,63. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut chassis model H aman. Abstract Background: The chassis is the most important structural part of the vehicle. Nowadays, many vehicles use electric power, because fossil fuels will run out. The existence of electric fuel makes today’s vehicles environmentally friendly and does not emit pollution. One way to make a prototype electric car is to prepare a design and simulate it using Autodesk Inventor Software. This research aims to find the best chassis model made from 6061 hollow aluminum by comparing three chassis models. The comparison was carried out through static analysis using Autodesk Inventor 2019 software. With chassis models, namely chassis pattern H, X, and Y which will be subjected to a static load test of 900 N including the driver’s load of 600 N. The values obtained are von mises stress, displacement, and safety factor. The chassis in this test has dimensions of 2,160 mm x 750 mm x 500 mm with a thickness of 2 mm. The conclusions from the static test results on the chassis explains that the H model chassis is the best chassis model in this study with a von mises stress value of 36,03 MPa, displacement of 4,28 mm, and safety factor of 7,63. Based on these result, the H model chassis is safe.
