The purpose of this study was to determine the village government policy in an effort to advance the village community economy based on Law No. 6 of 2014 concerning Villages in Karangsono Village, Kanigoro District, Blitar Regency. This study is a qualitative and descriptive field research. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the Karangsono Village Government has shown readiness in advancing the community economy through the readiness of village government officials, Human Resources (HR), and fairly good infrastructure. The village government's efforts are carried out by empowering the community through training in agriculture, plantations, and animal husbandry, as well as providing access to markets and extension to farmers. However, the village government still faces obstacles such as the lack of quality human resources and effective communication between the village government and the community, making it difficult to determine the right program. The village government has made efforts to advance the community economy, but still needs to improve the quality of human resources and communication to achieve more effective goals.
