This study aims to determine the application of the Discovery Learning learning model to improve student learning outcomes in the Science subject of Class V SDN 13 Ambon. This study uses the Classroom Action Research method and the sample used was 21 fifth grade students. The results of the study show that the application of the discovery learning model can improve student learning outcomes as indicated by improvements in the number of students who achieve the minimum completion criteria (KKM). In cycle I it reached 68.81% and there was an increase in cycle II, namely 80.62%. From these results, it can be concluded that the use of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model to improve the ability to use the discovery learning method carried out by teachers from cycle I to cycle II has increased, this shows the success of teachers in managing learning.
