In the manufacturing sector, particularly in the food industry, continuous improvement is essential to ensure smooth production processes. Production machines play a key role in maintaining this continuity. However, disruptions in the process can lead to downtime and financial losses for the company. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of machines, especially single-line machines, in reducing downtime in the powdered beverage packaging process at PT. ZYX. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and literature review. The Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method is used to assess machine effectiveness. Data processing involves calculating availability, performance, and quality using specific formulas. The results show that the OEE value for the single-line packaging machine at point 6 is 85.7%, while at point 7 it is 79.32%. Compared to the international OEE standard of 85%, the machine at point 7 still requires improvement, particularly in the performance aspect. Therefore, improvements in various areas that potentially lower performance, as illustrated in the fishbone diagram, are needed to increase the OEE value.
