<![CDATA[Poverty is a condition that is often associated with economic inability to meet daily needs. Absolute poverty is measured based on the inability to meet minimum basic needs such as food, clothing, health, housing and education. The purpose of this thesis is to determine the effect of economic growth and unemployment on the poverty rate in South Sumatra Province in 2019-2023. The analysis method used is the Panel Data Regression Method. The results of the study showed that economic growth had a positive and significant effect on the poverty rate in South Sumatra Province in 2019-2023, so that the hypothesis (H1) proposed by the researcher was accepted with a significance value of 0.04 <0.05 with a t-statistic value of 2.1462813. Unemployment had a negative and insignificant effect on the poverty rate in South Sumatra Province in 2019-2023 in South Sumatra Province, so that the hypothesis (H2) proposed by the researcher was rejected with a significance value of 0.7056> 0.05 with a t-statistic value of -0.3826. Economic growth (X1) and unemployment (X2) together affect the poverty rate in South Sumatra Province in 2019-2023 in South Sumatra Province (Y) with a calculated F value of 2.914818 and a significant value of 0.04 <0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.]]>
