<![CDATA[Abstract. Wounds result from damage to the skin's protective function, characterized by loss of tissue continuity due to injury or surgery. Carrot leaves (Daucus carota L.), usually considered waste, contain flavonoids that can accelerate wound healing. This study evaluated the effectiveness of ethanol extract of carrot leaves in gel on incision wound healing in male Swiss Webster mice, and studied the effect of extract concentration on the healing process and gel evaluation. Pharmaceutical gels are favored by the public because they look attractive and are easy to clean. The results showed that carrot leaf extract with concentrations of 1%, 2%, and 4% effectively healed wounds, with 2% concentration being the most effective. The group of test animals using 2% carrot leaf ethanol extract gel showed significant results compared to Bioplacenton® gel (p-Value <0.05). The carrot leaf ethanol extract gel made meets the preparation evaluation standards, so it is suitable for use. This study shows the potential of carrot leaves as an alternative ingredient for the formulation of effective wound healing gels. Abstrak. Luka terjadi akibat kerusakan fungsi perlindungan kulit, ditandai hilangnya kontinuitas jaringan akibat cedera atau pembedahan. Daun wortel (Daucus carota L.), biasanya dianggap limbah, mengandung flavonoid yang dapat mempercepat penyembuhan luka. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi efektivitas ekstrak etanol daun wortel dalam gel terhadap penyembuhan luka sayat pada mencit jantan galur Swiss Webster, serta mempelajari pengaruh konsentrasi ekstrak pada proses penyembuhan dan evaluasi gel. Gel farmasi disukai masyarakat karena tampilannya menarik dan mudah dibersihkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ekstrak daun wortel dengan konsentrasi 1%, 2%, dan 4% efektif menyembuhkan luka, dengan konsentrasi 2% paling efektif. Kelompok hewan uji yang menggunakan gel ekstrak etanol daun wortel 2% menunjukkan hasil signifikan dibandingkan gel Bioplacenton® (p-Value < 0,05). Gel ekstrak etanol daun wortel yang dibuat memenuhi standar evaluasi sediaan, sehingga layak digunakan.
