The digitalization of cash waqf represents a pivotal innovation in the development of Islamic social finance amid the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Despite its vast potential to support social development and empower communities, the actual realization of cash waqf in Indonesia remains significantly underutilized. Key challenges include low public literacy, the absence of comprehensive digital regulations, and limited integration among digital platforms. This study aims to explore the potential, challenges, and strategic roadmap for cash waqf digitalization in Indonesia, with a specific focus on three digital platforms: LinkAja Syariah, e-Salaam, and GoAmal by Dompet Dhuafa. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach through library research, this paper draws from scholarly journals, official regulations, DSN-MUI fatwas, and institutional reports. The data were analyzed using descriptive-comparative and content analysis methods. Findings suggest that digitalization enhances accessibility, transactional efficiency, and donor engagement but still faces issues related to trust, governance, and regulatory frameworks. As a contribution, this article proposes a phased roadmap—from short-term literacy campaigns and QRIS integration to long-term blockchain-based national platforms—that may guide policymakers and practitioners. The study concludes by emphasizing the need for multisector collaboration involving BWI, KNEKS, OJK, and waqf institutions to build a sustainable and trustworthy digital waqf ecosystem.
