This study aims to improve student learning participation through the use of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by concrete picture card media in the Pancasila subject for second-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Padokan. This research employed a quasi-experimental method involving two groups: an experimental class and a control class. The subjects consisted of 50 second-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Padokan, with 26 students in the experimental class (Class II B) and 24 students in the control class (Class II A). Data were collected using a questionnaire method with instruments that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 25. The pre-test significance value for the experimental class was 0.107, and the post-test value was 0.918. Meanwhile, the control class obtained a pre-test significance value of 0.470 and a post-test value of 0.456. Based on the results of the independent sample t- test, both classes showed a significance value of 0.001. Since the significance value is less than 0.05, it can be concluded that the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H₁) is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the PBL model assisted by concrete picture card media (KABAR) has a significant effect on student participation. Based on the results and discussion, it is concluded that the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by picture cards positively influences student participation in Pancasila learning for second-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Padokan.
