This study was motivated by the low creativity of students in dance learning at SDN Pejagan 01, which was due to the lack of innovative teaching methods and minimal use of technology-based media. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of audio-visual media on the creativity of fifth-grade students in dance subjects. This research employed a quantitative approach with an experimental method and a posttest-only control group design. The sample consisted of two classes, VA as the experimental group and VB as the control group, selected using saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive statistics and independent t- tests with the help of SPSS version 26. The results showed that the t-test significance value was 0.007 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant effect of audio- visual media on students’ creativity. The average creativity score in the experimental class was 78.26, higher than the control class at 67.30. Audio-visual media effectively stimulated students’ imagination, encouraged self-expression, and enhanced creative abilities through engaging visual and auditory presentation. These findings suggest that the use of audio-visual media can be an effective strategy to foster creativity in primary school dance education.
