Abstract

Abstract   Supply Chain Management (SCM) significantly contributes to the efficiency of project implementation in the construction industry. Failures in construction projects can lead to substantial losses and delays, making the implementation of SCM crucial. This research aims to analyze the impact of SCM on the performance of construction companies and identify the dominant factors challenging its implementation in Banda Aceh. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to building contractors in Banda Aceh. A total of 47 respondents participated, with 30 meeting the criteria for analysis. Data analysis involved factor analysis, descriptive analysis, and Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA). The study examines variables such as cost estimation, execution and working relationships, project documentation, materials, labor, equipment, project financials, project duration, and economic/political policies. The findings indicate that SCM significantly influences construction company performance. Notably, materials emerged as the most influential factor due to their direct impact on project costs, timelines, quality, and operational efficiency. Effective management of materials is therefore essential for enhancing overall performance, profitability, and reputation within the construction industry. These insights underscore the critical role of SCM in driving success for construction companies in Banda Aceh and highlight the need for strategic focus in SCM practices.   Keywords: Supply Chain Management, construction company performance, factor analysis, materials management   Abstrak   Manajemen Rantai Pasok (SCM) berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap efisiensi pelaksanaan proyek diindustri konstruksi.
