Abstract

Blockchain adalah teknologi desentralisasi yang memungkinkan penyimpanan data dalam jaringan yang aman, transparan, dan tidak dapat diubah. Teknologi ini telah diterapkan secara luas, termasuk dalam transaksi Bitcoin, sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi, transparansi, dan keamanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak teknologi blockchain terhadap efisiensi transaksi Bitcoin di Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dan tinjauan pustaka, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa blockchain mampu mengatasi kendala seperti waktu proses yang lama dan biaya transaksi yang tinggi melalui mekanisme konsensus dan solusi inovatif seperti Lightning Network. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Lightning Network secara signifikan mempercepat proses transaksi dengan biaya yang sangat rendah. Selain itu, penggunaan smart contract memperluas potensi blockchain dalam mendukung aplikasi keuangan terdesentralisasi dan tokenisasi aset. Studi ini menegaskan pentingnya kolaborasi antara pemerintah, penyedia layanan, dan masyarakat untuk memaksimalkan manfaat blockchain di Indonesia.   Blockchain is a decentralized technology that enables secure, transparent, and immutable data storage within a network. This technology has been widely implemented, including in Bitcoin transactions, as a solution to enhance efficiency, transparency, and security. This study aims to analyze the impact of blockchain technology on the efficiency of Bitcoin transactions in Indonesia. Using a descriptive approach and literature review, the research found that blockchain can address challenges such as long processing times and high transaction costs through consensus mechanisms and innovative solutions like the Lightning Network. The findings reveal that the use of Lightning Network significantly accelerates transaction processes at very low costs. Furthermore, the use of smart contracts expands blockchain’s potential to support decentralized financial applications and asset tokenization. This study emphasizes the importance of collaboration among the government, service providers, and the public to maximize the benefits of blockchain technology in Indonesia.
