The human eye has different movement patterns, there are various experiments to analyze these movements. The biopotential signals are electrooculogram signals, which are electrical signals derived from eye muscle movements. The device used to record these signals is EOG (Electrooculography). The eye can be modeled as having a positive pole on the cornea and a negative pole on the retina. The electrical signals that can be measured from eye activity are called EOG. The reference electrode placement comparison test has a difference in value between the placement of the reference electrode on the forehead and the placement of the reference electrode on the neck. In the condition of the silent eye, up and down the electrodes on the neck have a higher value than the placement of electrodes on the forehead, while in the condition of the right and left eyes the electrodes on the forehead have a higher value than the placement of electrodes on the neck.
