Legal issues related to trademark rights in Indonesia cannot be separated from the role of globalization, where the advancement of information technology encourages various industries to think creatively in creating trademarks. In the manufacturing industry itself, problems of trademark plagiarism often arise, which are contrary to intellectual property law. Indonesia adopts the principle of first to file to protect trading rights. This study aims to analyze the application of the first to file principle in Indonesian law, with a focus on the manufacturing industry and the role of technology in resolving trademark disputes. The method used is normative juridical with a literature and historical approach to explore relevant data and legal norms. This research explores trademark protection, the use of the first to file principle, and manufacturing industry products. In this era of globalization, the challenges and alignment of technology’s role in fostering creativity and protecting intellectual property rights become the main focus of this analysis.
