ABSTRAK Masjid Al-Hadiid, sebagai pusat ibadah Fakultas Teknik Universitas Brawijaya, menampung lebih dari 400 jemaah, namun mengalami gangguan fungsional akibat kualitas akustik dan kebisingan eksternal. Studi ini mengevaluasi tingkat kebisingan latar belakang dan kinerja selubung bangunan dalam menginsulasi suara dari luar. Metode kuantitatif-deskriptif diterapkan melalui pengukuran tingkat tekanan bunyi (TTB) menggunakan sound level meter dan pemodelan peta kontur, dengan data diambil pagi dan malam hari. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kebisingan latar sudah sesuai standar internasional, namun insulasi selubung bangunan masih belum optimal, terutama akibat jendela yang tidak kedap suara. Kata kunci: Masjid, Akustik, Tempat Ibadah, Sound Level Meter, Tingkat Kebisingan ABSTRACT Al-Hadiid Mosque, the main worship facility of the Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Brawijaya, accommodates over 400 congregants but faces functional limitations due to its acoustic performance and external noise intrusion. This study evaluates background noise levels and the building envelope’s capability to insulate against external sounds. A quantitative-descriptive method was used, involving sound pressure level (SPL) measurements with a sound level meter and contour mapping, with data collected during morning and evening sessions. The results show that while the background noise levels comply with international standards, the acoustic insulation of the building envelope remains insufficient, particularly due to unsealed windows allowing traffic noise to penetrate through small gaps.
