ABSTRAK Pertumbuhan balita dipengaruhi oleh praktik pemberian gizi yang tepat, terutama pada masa transisi dari ASI eksklusif ke MP-ASI dan praktik PMBA. Kader Posyandu memiliki peran strategis dalam edukasi, pemantauan, dan pendampingan keluarga. Memperkuat peran kader melalui kegiatan pelatihan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Posyandu wilayah kerja Puskesmas Bandar Agung, Lampung Tengah pada 28 Agustus 2025 dengan sasaran 38 kader Posyandu. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi ceramah interaktif, demonstrasi, simulasi, dan praktik lapangan, dengan tahapan persiapan modul pelatihan, penyampaian materi MP-ASI dan PMBA, pendampingan praktik pemantauan dan konseling, serta evaluasi menggunakan pre-test, post-test, dan observasi keterampilan. Menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan kader dalam pemantauan gizi balita serta penerapan praktik MP-ASI dan PMBA. Meskipun dampak jangka pendek terhadap status gizi balita belum optimal, keberhasilan program ini menegaskan pentingnya monitoring berkelanjutan, evaluasi berkala, dan dukungan sistemik untuk mencapai tujuan jangka panjang perbaikan gizi anak secara berkesinambungan. Kata Kunci: Edukasi, Kader, MP-ASI, Pemantauan ABSTRACT Toddler growth is strongly influenced by proper nutritional practices, particularly during the transition from exclusive breastfeeding to complementary feeding (MP-ASI) and infant and young child feeding (PMBA) practices. Posyandu cadres play a strategic role in providing education, monitoring growth, and supporting families. To strengthen the role of cadres through structured training activities. The implementation methods included interactive lectures, demonstrations, simulations, and field practice. The stages consisted of training module preparation, delivery of MP-ASI and PMBA materials, assistance in monitoring and counseling practice, and evaluation using pre-tests, post-tests, and skills observation. The program showed an increase in cadres’ knowledge, attitudes, and skills in monitoring toddler nutrition and implementing MP-ASI and PMBA practices. Although the short-term impact on toddler nutritional status was not optimal, the program’s success highlights the importance of continuous monitoring, periodic evaluation, and systemic support to sustainably achieve long-term improvements in child nutrition.
