Abstract

Abstract Technological developments in the industrial world are a clear example of developments in the industrial era 4.0. SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) is needed in industry and factories, where it has various advantages such as in terms of cost, maintenance, repair and monitoring. SCADA, PLC, and HMI belong to the type of automation world that are very interconnected with one another, automation is a technology that relates to the application of mechanical, electronic, and computer-based information systems to be able to operate and control factory production. and industry. By implementing SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) system technology, the scope of operation, maintenance and supervision of the performance process of pumps, engines, and other electrical equipment that can be controlled in one control room easily by the operator. The application of SCADA as a pump controller to maintain and improve the quality of clean water supply services at PDAM Tirtanadi IPAM Sunggal which is increasing day by day and is urgently needed by the people of Medan Keywords : SCADA, PLC, HMI, Pump Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi dalam dunia industri merupakan contoh nyata dari perkembangan di zaman industri 4.0. SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) sangat dibutuhkan pada industri dan pabrik, dimana berbagai kelebihan yang dimilikinya seperti dalam hal biaya, perawatan, perbaikan, dan pemantauan. SCADA, PLC, dan HMI termasuk ke dalam jenis dunia otomatisasi yang sangat saling berhubungan antara satu dengan yang lainnya, otomatisasi adalah suatu teknologi yang berhubungan dengan penerapan sistem mekanis, elektronik, dan juga sistem informasi yang berdasarkan komputer untuk bisa mengoperasikan dan juga mengendalikan produksi pabrik maupun industri. Dengan menerapkan teknologi sistem SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition), ruang lingkup operasi, perawatan, dan pengawasan terhadap proses kinerja pompa, mesin, dan peralatan listrik lainnya yang dapat di kendalikan dalam satu ruangan kendali dengan mudah oleh operator. Penerapan SCADA sebagai pengendali pompa untuk mempertahankan dan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan penyediaan debit air bersih pada PDAM Tirtanadi IPAM Sunggal yang semakin hari meningkat dan sangat dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat kota Medan Kata Kunci: SCADA, PLC, HMI, Pompa
