<![CDATA[This community service aims to improve the knowledge of mothers of toddlers and posyandu cadres regarding the prevention and management of Acute Respiratory Tract Infections (ARTI) in toddlers in Tanjung Anom Village, Pancur Batu District, Deli Serdang Regency. The method used in this service is health counseling involving lectures, discussions, question-and-answer sessions, and demonstrations using visual media such as leaflets and LCDs. This activity was attended by 30 participants consisting of mothers of toddlers and posyandu cadres. The results showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge about the causes, symptoms, and preventive measures of ARTI, with more than 80% of participants able to identify the symptoms of ARTI and the preventive steps they can take. This increase in knowledge also influenced the attitudes of mothers and posyandu cadres in managing ARTI at the family level. This service contributes significantly to empowering the community, especially mothers of toddlers and posyandu cadres, in the prevention and management of ARTI at the village level. The sustainability of this activity needs to be facilitated by the health center and local cadres to maintain the achieved results.]]>
