Kemajuan teknologi informasi yang berkembang dengan pesat telah membawa perubahan besar dalam peningkatan mutu pelayanan publik, khususnya di lingkungan pemerintahan desa. Penerapan teknologi informasi diwujudkan melalui sistem informasi berbasis web yang dirancang guna mendukung kegiatan administrasi pembuatan Surat Pengantar SKCK (Surat Keterangan Catatan Kepolisian). Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah merancang sekaligus menerapkan sistem informasi berbasis web untuk pembuatan Surat Pengantar SKCK Kantor Desa Banyuputih, agar pelayanan masyarakat menjadi lebih cepat, akurat serta transparan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode waterfall yang terdiri dari tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, dan pengujian sistem. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa sistem yang dibangun mampu menyederhanakan proses penerbitan surat, mempercepat proses validasi data, serta mengurangi potensi kesalahan yang biasanya muncul pada sistem manual. Dengan adanya sistem ini, masyarakat dapat mengajukan permohonan secara daring, sementara aparat desa dapat memverifikasi dan mencetak surat secara otomatis. Penerapan sistem ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan efektivitas pelayanan publik serta menjadi langkah nyata dalam mendorong terwujudnya e-Government di tingkat pemerintahan desa. One form of this technological implementation is the development of a web-based information system designed to assist the administrative process of issuing SKCK (Police Record Certificate) introduction letters. The purpose of this study is to design and implement a web-based information system for issuing SKCK introduction letters in Banyuputih Village, aiming to make public services more efficient, accurate, and transparent. This research applies the waterfall method, which includes the stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The results indicate that the developed system can simplify the process of letter issuance, accelerate data validation, and minimize errors commonly found in manual systems. Through this web-based system, residents can submit their applications online, while village officials are able to verify and print the letters automatically. The implementation of this system is expected to improve the effectiveness of public services and serve as a concrete step toward supporting the realization of e-Government at the village level.
