Abstract

PT. X yaitu Anaerobic Baffled Reactor (ABR). PT. X is a company engaged in the animal feed industry. In its operations, PT. X generates both domestic and industrial wastewater. The industrial wastewater undergoes pre-treatment before being combined with domestic wastewater for treatment in the domestic wastewater treatment plant (WWTP). The total liquid waste produced by PT. X amounts to 11.18 m³/day, which is fully utilized for irrigation of green open spaces (10.68 m³/day) and washing operational vehicles (0.5 m³/day), achieving 100% utilization efficiency. The wastewater contains pollutant parameters including BOD5, COD, TSS, NH3-N, oils and fats, total coliform, TDS, phenol, copper (Cu), and iron (Fe), necessitating treatment through the domestic WWTP to meet the required quality standards. The technology employed in PT. X’s WWTP is the Anaerobic Baffled Reactor (ABR). After treatment, the effluent is used for irrigation of green open spaces at a dosage of 0.35 L/m²/day.
