This study conducts a comprehensive analysis of bearing failures in centrifugal pumps, aiming to find bearing life & the cause of difference in field data. Through meticulous examination of failed bearings, the research identifies root causes, including factors such as misalignment, inadequate lubrication, and excessive loads. The investigation involves a series of systematic steps to identify, evaluate, and understand the causes and impacts of damage that occurs. First, a visual survey of the centrifugal pump is carried out to look for physical signs that indicate damage to the bearing. This involves checking general conditions, such as wear, cracks, or leaks. The findings contribute to the nominal bearing life is 26.631,8 hours or about 3 years of use & the difference in life calculations between theoretical calculations and data found in the field is generally caused by high temperatures and vibrations in the bearing.
