<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the social and economic impacts of the 4B Movement in South Korea as a response to traditional gender norms in a patriarchal society that is still influenced by Confucian values. The 4B Movement, which rejects marriage, childbearing, dating, sexual relations, emerged as a form of resistance by young women against gender discrimination, wage disparities, and economic limitations. This study uses a qualitative method based on literature studies, with a foundation in Gender and Development (GAD) theory and Feminist Economics, to explore how the redefinition of women's roles through the 4B Movement contributes to sustainable development of SDG-5. The results show that the 4B Movement has driven significant changes in consumption patterns, preferences for independent living, and women's participation in non-traditional economic sectors. This phenomena introduces new concerns, such as the risk of diminishing birth rates, which have repercussions for the demographic structure and sustainability of the national economy]]>
