Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika kelas V dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus, setiap siklusnya meliputi empat tahap: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes, observasi, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Think Pair Share dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika. Pada siklus I, persentase ketuntasan klasikal siswa mencapai 55%. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan dan pelaksanaan siklus II, persentase ketuntasan klasikal meningkat signifikan menjadi 95%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model Think Pair Share efektif dalam meningkatkan partisipasi aktif siswa dan hasil belajar matematika.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penerapan model Think Pair Share secara signifikan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika di kelas V. Disarankan bagi para guru untuk mempertimbangkan penggunaan model ini sebagai solusi alternatif dalam pembelajaran matematika untuk mengatasi rendahnya minat dan hasil belajar siswa.   This study aims to improve students' activities and learning outcomes in learning grade V mathematics by applying the Think Pair Share learning model. The type of research used is classroom action research consisting of two cycles, each cycle includes four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were grade V students with data collection techniques in the form of tests, observations, field notes, and documentation. The results showed that the application of the Think Pair Share model could improve the quality of mathematics learning. In cycle I, the percentage of students' classical completeness reached 55%. After the improvement and implementation of cycle II, the percentage of classical completeness increased significantly to 95%. This finding shows that the Think Pair Share model is effective in increasing students' active participation and mathematics learning outcomes. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the Think Pair Share model significantly improves the quality of mathematics learning in grade V. It is recommended that teachers consider using the Think Pair Share model to improve the quality of mathematics learning. It is recommended that teachers to consider using this model as an alternative solution in learning mathematics to overcome the low interest and learning outcomes of students.
