Abstract

ABSTRACT This article aims to discuss the Influence of Directed Reading Thinking Activity Strategy Assisted by Interactive Canva to Improve Reading Literacy Skills of Fourth Grade Students of SDN 1 Hegarmanah. This study uses a quantitative research type using a pre-experimental approach. The sample used in this study was 36 people who were included in the low category of initial reading ability so that this study is said to be a purposive sampling study. The data collection technique used a test (pretest - posttest), then the data analysis technique used was the Paired Sample Test. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained that the Directed Reading Thinking Activity strategy had an effective influence on reading literacy skills in fourth grade students of SDN 1 Hegarmanah, namely the N-Gain percentage of 80.80%> 76% obtained from the calculation results. And it can be seen from (2 tailed) = 0.001 <0.05, this shows that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Keywords: DRTA Strategy, Reading Literacy, Elementary School ABSTRAK Artikel ini bertujuan untuk membahas tentang Pengaruh Strategi Directed Reading Thinking Activity Berbantuan Canva Interaktif Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Literasi Membaca Siswa Kelas IV SDN 1 Hegarmanah. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan pra eksperimen. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 36 orang yang termasuk memiliki nilai kategori rendah pada kemampuan membaca permulaan sehingga penelitian ini dikatakan sebagai penelitian purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes (pretest – posttest), selanjutnya teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu berupa uji Paired Sample Test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh bahwa strategi Directed Reading Thinking Activity memiliki pengaruh yang efektif terhadap kemampuan literasi membaca pada siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Hegarmanah yaitu persentase N-Gain sebesar 80,80%>76% yang diperoleh dari hasil perhitungannya. Dan dapat dilihat dari (2 tailed) = 0,001 < 0,05, ini menunjukkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima.
