PENERAPAN MODEL VALUE CLARIVICATION TECHNIQUE(VCT) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS PEMBELAJARAN IPS

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitianinibertujuanuntukmeningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPS melalui penerapan model VCT.Subjek penelitian adalah pesertadidik kelas VIIIB yang berjumlah42siswa. Pengumpulan data melaluiobservasi, pengamatan, catatan lapangan, angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif.Kualitas pembelajaran meningkat melalui aspek-aspek:1) keaktifansiswapada prasiklusdiperoleh 23,8%,siklus I 61,9%,siklus II 66,7%,  dan siklus III sebesar76,2%; 2) proses pemahamanmateripadaprasiklusdiperoleh 50%, siklus I 66,7%,siklus II 76,2%, dan siklus III sebesar85,7%; 3) proses latihansoalpada prasiklusdiperoleh 47,6%, siklus I 71,4%,siklus II 76,2%,dan siklus III sebesar83,3%; 4)situasibelajarpadaprasiklus diperoleh 42,9%,siklus I 81,0%,siklus II 85,7%,dansiklus III sebesar 90,5%; 5)proses belajarpada prasiklusdiperoleh 47,6%,siklus I 78,6%,siklus II 83,3%, dan siklus III sebesar 88,1%.   Kata kunci: value clarification technique, kualitas pembelajaran, Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial     This study aims to improve the quality of learning IPS through the application of VCT. The subject of research is the students of VIIIB that are 42 people. The research data are collected by using observation, field notes, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The data are analyzed by descriptive qualitative and quantitative. Learning quality increases through the aspects: 1) student activity in pre-cycle 23.8%, 1st cycle 61.9%, 2nd cycle 66.7%, and 3rdcycle 76, 2%; 2) the process of understanding the material in pre-cycle50%, 1st cycle 66.7%, 2nd cycle 76.2%, 3rd cycle of 85.7%; 3) the process of exercises in pre-cycle47.6%, 1stcycle 71.4%, 2nd cycle 76.2%, and 3rdcycle is amounted to 83.3%; 4) learning situation in pre-cycle42.9%, 1st cycle 81.0%, 2nd cycle 85.7%, and 3rd cycle is amounted to 90.5%, 5) learning process in pre-cycle47.6%,1st cycle 78.6%, 2nd cycle 83.3%, and 3rd cycle 88.1%.
