The bus rapid transit system in Semarang serves as a key component of urban mobility, accommodating the daily transportation needs of its residents. This study seeks to identify passenger requirements and propose service improvements on Corridor VIII (Gunungpati–Simpang Lima) through the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) approach. Data collection methods included observation, questionnaires, interviews, and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs). The analysis applied the House of Quality (HoQ) matrix to connect passenger expectations with technical responses. The results indicate three main priorities for service enhancement: regular vehicle maintenance, provision of additional waste bins inside buses, and better discipline combined with courteous behavior from staff. On the technical side, the top priorities are driver and staff training, increasing personnel at shelters, and expanding the fleet. These findings are expected to provide valuable insights for advancing the quality of urban public transportation in a sustainable manner. Sistem transportasi berbasis bus cepat di Kota Semarang berperan penting dalam menunjang mobilitas masyarakat, khususnya dalam memenuhi kebutuhan perjalanan harian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan penumpang serta merumuskan perbaikan layanan pada Koridor VIII (Gunungpati–Simpang Lima) dengan menggunakan pendekatan Quality Function Deployment (QFD). Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, kuesioner, wawancara, dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Analisis dilakukan menggunakan matriks House of Quality (HoQ) untuk mengaitkan harapan penumpang dengan respon teknis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tiga prioritas utama perbaikan layanan, yaitu perawatan armada secara rutin, penyediaan tempat sampah tambahan di dalam bus, serta peningkatan kedisiplinan dan keramahan petugas. Di sisi teknis, prioritas yang muncul meliputi pelatihan bagi pengemudi dan petugas, penambahan personel di shelter, serta penambahan jumlah armada. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan penting dalam upaya peningkatan kualitas layanan transportasi umum perkotaan secara berkelanjutan.
