Background: The achievement of membership registered in BPJS services until the end of December 2020 reached 81.4% of the total population in Boyolali Regency. The lack of general knowledge about BPJS still confuses many people even they don't know about BPJS, because there are still many Indonesian people who support or do not support BPJS which is required by law. This makes the demand for the community to know about BPJS knowledge. This knowledge is expected to have a relationship with participation as a BPJS member.Objectives: to find out the relationship between the level of knowledge about BPJS and community participation in becoming members of the Social Security Administration Agency (BPJS) in Sukorejo village.Method: This study uses a non-experimental method with a cross-sectional research approach. This study used a purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 76 people. Data were processed using the SPSS program to analyze univariate and bivariate with the Kendall’s tau test.Result: The results of the bivariate analysis show that there is a significant relationship between the quality of health services and patient satisfaction ?<0.05 (?=0.011), which indicates that "There is a relationship between the level of knowledge about BPJS and community participation as members of the Social Security Administration Agency (BPJS)".Conclusion: There is a relationship between the level of knowledge about BPJS and community participation as members of the Social Security Administration Agency (BPJS). It is hoped that the public will increase their general knowledge of BPJS.
